"Turn Off Time" poem/song was from November 12, 2012. There's no music yet. It's possible I'll leave it as a poem or lyrics unless we get a 'serious' end-times prophecy right away and then I'll get to it. However, I'd rather just sing it and see what I can come up with.

Turn Off Time
By Scott McLean
They’ve been waiting for the end
Could it be they’ll just have to pretend
Thinking like they’re on dope
Like thinking like they’re on dope were a religion
Like thinking way too damned much
Like liking panic stricken silhouettes
The walls of their minds
Are about to go up blocking the vision thing
This is only the beginning of the end of the world
But lately as some of us know it, the end of love
Has begun to lurch in the not-too-distant background
Will we ever be on the mend, especially if it’s really not the end?
Will they ever let us go back to being? Being who we are?
Or are they bent on turning off time?
Or do they only want to turn off rational minds?
If it were up to me, I’d never use my ears to take in all their fears
Their fantasy of fears is what a lot of people are living for
And they’ll be disappointed if the world doesn’t reach the end
If nothing can end it all and time marches on
They’ll take a few minutes to stretch and yawn
Then get back to figuring out when something or someone will turn off time
And if all else fails, and the planet doesn’t go away, they’ll just go back do doing
Doing what they do best, which is withdraw from reality, and pretend
And that really turns me off
