I'm sorry there was a problem and the video was supposed to be blogged on my other blog. When I working with it under share I thought it was switched over to the other blog but it wasn't and so I corrected it.

I have seen song names or album track names released by bands before the song or album is released. That's great, but I go one step ahead of them. Here are the lyrics I wrote tonight when I was at a grocery store in the parking lot waiting for it to stop raining and wondering how to walk and avoid some of the puddles. So then, I'm inspired by puddles and rain. I don't know when this will be released as a song and I'm not in any hurry put it out. Sometimes I write the lyrics before I come up with a melody, start singing or playing it on acoustic guitar, though I'm writing other songs too, and mostly I just start singing. But I don't know what the song with these lyrics will sound like. Maybe it will be a grunge song, but there's no way to know for sure. However, it does show I can write quickly and just sit down with a pen and paper anywhere and any time of day or night. This was written between 9:25 pm and 9:42 pm (17 minutes) on Thursday December 29, 2011.

You wound up in misery
not the seminary
do i stand corrected?
i've got another come back
line every time
much more bland in vision
the department will never
get out of the dog house
for writing him out of history
you should be the focus
of nagging allegations
whenever you open your computer
and don't forget your face for photoshopping
pledge -- lawmaking's on the ledge
issue wedge -- beings take it some more
talk the way your grandma did
the way she felt the day
you were born, 30 years after
the great depression, the way
she felt when she would say
she felt that very day
she was no longer happy n' gay
it was long ago
and still is
you wound up smelling
like a pacific northwest late afternoon
on the greyest overcast bucket full
of pea soup collecting in the backyard
you parked your face
in the supermarket parking lot
lots of times before
never reached the door
puddle breath here's tube of toothpaste
here's your photoshopped imagination
puddle breath in moss and slugs your pledge
to make the life
of yours an issue wedge
so in misery we
may all connect!
the one and only
did living your way
the falling down
watching the clouds
cry on you to
ease the pain the
the rain is there for you.

Nonexistent Reality/Scott McLean "Leaves"
Scott McLean - singer, songwriter
The song was written and recorded about two weeks ago. I thought about recording it again and changing some of the lyrics but decided against it because this is my style, it's raw and has some magnificent flaws.

Nonexistent Reality "Corners"

Some politicians and government officials are doing a good job. The song "Lower" (below this post) is about those politicians and government officials who are dishonest, tell lies, and try to gain support for wars, for invasion of our privacy, and even to take away our rights and our freedom. It's also about anyone else who lies frequently and with the goal of being 'higher' than the rest of us. I'm not saying everyone is telling lots of lies, but far too many people. I feel it's better not to have much and be able to live with myself. I'm not perfect but I'm a 'good fit' for Grunge and the raw-sounding songs.
Scott McLean - singer, songwriter, ideas/deep thinking
I just wrote this song about an hour ago. It's the first recording and I'll probably add to it someday. Please read the labels. I use the word 'you' but of course
this song is not about you, the listener, it's about politicians and government officials
and and others who lie a lot to gain riches, power, and/or fame, and they think they are better than
or 'higher' than most of us but in the end they are 'lower' or maybe that's after the end of this life, when they are lower. I'm not sure, I'm just thinking on this subject which I find to be quite interesting.
This isn't a religious song about heaven and hell, but maybe it should be, right? The song is short
and that's like an analogy to the amount of time the liars get to be 'higher' in comparison to
forever or at least when compared with how long the universe has existed.

Nonexistent Reality: Scott McLean - vocals, guitar, songwriting, improv ideas/thinking
"The Nonexistent Reality"
1. chaos on mynd borders
2. am i like u
3. race from evil a gag by the unsenatesatives
This song is recorded today Saturday December 3 2011 and I wrote it at the same time so it's an improv song/acoustic guitar instrumental. I don't care about trying to achieve perfection because my main style is rough grunge with a country and folk sound to some songs, somewhat prog and medieval sounding at times, and one of my goals is to promote freedom in music. I hope musicians, singers, songwriters, and writers will stand up for freedom of speech and freedom of expression in music, and some people would say they need to do this in the music business. At this time, however, I'm not making any money in music or writing. One of my goals is to do something interesting and different than what has already been done.
In case you didn't know this, I like to put two words together for added effect. It's not a misspelling, it's on purpose. You might also be able to find words in a song title that spell something backwards, but I'll try to keep it to a minimum, which isn't to say that I'll become a minimalist composer, though that would be fun.
